Q&A

Karta Pobytu is a platform supporting and bringing together foreigners living in Poland. Our primary goal is to help foreigners obtain residence permit allowing them to legally stay in Poland. We specialize in obtaining all types of temporary and permanent residence permits.

The basic documents required in the process of legalizing your stay in Poland include:

– Application with the necessary attachments

– Passport

– Passport photos

– Confirmation of payment of fees

– Confirmation of the purpose of stay in Poland

– Confirmation of place of residence

– Confirmation of having financial means to live in Poland

The remaining documents are individual depending on the type of application submitted and can be found on the official websites of the relevant voivodeship offices.

By using the Karta Pobytu portal, you will receive an individual list of documents to prepare, taking into account the basis for submitting your application and the city of application.

Theoretically, the process of granting a temporary residence permit takes up to 3 months, plus the period necessary to print the residence card.

In practice, however, this time is different for each voivodeship and due to the heavy workload of offices, it may exceed 12 months. When preparing documents with our application, you can be sure that you will be prepared very well, which will increase your chances of receiving a residence card in the shortest possible time.
